"What is A Requiem for Meaning, anyways?"
A Requiem for Meaning is a fantasy book series with a focus on discovering one's identity, overcoming trauma, and learning to persist in the face of a seemingly meaningless world.
"Is there a release date for the first book?"
The first book in the series is expected to start its publication process in mid 2024 or early 2025. Please be aware that this estimation may be subject to change depending on author availability, speed of publication, and other variables of similar complexity.
"How many books will be in the series?"
When the series has been fully published, it is expected to contain 7 unique entries. The first 5 of these books will tell the story of the same protagonist(s), while the remaining 2 books will tell separate, yet very much related tales.
"Are there any plans to produce Requiem merchandise?"
There are many, many ideas for merchandise that we hope to bring to life! The most requested items include stickers, pins, t-shirts, and even plushies. In time, we would like to have a wide variety of merchandise for fans and supporters to purchase. Ideally, this will be available on the upcoming Requiem website post-publication of the first book. Until then, feel free to check out the LovetteWork's RedBubble page, which features a Requiem collection. It is a limited selection at the moment, but that should change soon!
"Where can I follow for updates, additional content, and more?"

Please inquire about the exact fee for your commission in advance prior to the use of machine learning or derived technologies.
Types of Commissions
Below, I will break down the most common types of commissions I complete, their price, and show some examples. Please be aware that this is not a comprehensive list. It is always better to suggest an idea for a commission rather than to assume I won't complete it at all. I am always open to trying out new things, so just ask!
Icons ($5 - $15 USD)
Sketches ($20 - $45 USD)

Partial Digital Illustrations ($30 - $90 USD)
A full-body illustration with coloring, shading, and a gradient background (~$75 USD).
Tattoo Designs ($30 - $100 USD)
Tattoo design commissions can be complex, which is exactly why they are priced based on complexity. The price of a design hinges on the number of subjects, the variety of colors, if there are any unique textures, if it is heavily stylized, etc.If you are interested in a tattoo design commission, the best thing to do is present your entire idea to me, photos you'd like me to reference, as well as specifications and anything else you think is important to include. Once I've read all that, I can give you a price range and we can get to work!As a general rule, tattoo designs are going to be priced between $30 to $100 USD, though a price may exceed that estimate or lower depending on complexity.
A tattoo design completed for @maxxjpg on Twitter ($80 USD).
Character Sheets / References ($40 - $100 USD)
Character sheets (also known as references) are an excellent resource for those who frequently order commissions of a specific character from other artists, those looking to produce costumes based on a character, and more! All sorts of characters can be given reference sheets, including humanoid, anthropomorphic, feral, and more! They can be broken down into two basic categories: one-sided and two-sided.

Cetacean Plushies ($65 - $250 USD)
Plushies are hand sewn and are MTO (made to order). Potential subjects include real-world cetaceans (wild or under human care), licensed cetacean characters, or original cetacean characters.Because these are hand-made, no two plushies are unique and come with their own "imperfections" and quirks. I cannot guarantee that your plushie will look exactly the same as another client's plushie. Above all else, a plushie's price is dependent on the subject's complexity, but the size of the plushie also helps determine the price. Plushies outside of the size ranges below may be commissioned, but they must be specially requested!Plushie sizes can be divided into 3 categories:
- Small Plushies | 10 - 12 inches long | good level of detail | $65 - $100 USD
- Medium Plushies | 13 - 18 inches long | great level of detail | $85 - $150
- Large Plushies | 19 - 30 inches | best level of detail | $125 - $250
If you are interested in a plushie commission, please contact me for a quote. Please note that plushie commissions may have a high turnover period due to the amount of work required.
A medium-sized plushie of a real killer whale known as Katina. For all plushies, resemblance to the provided reference material is prioritized. In this case, photo references of Katina were used to ensure that all of her physical characteristics (such as the shape of her face and dorsal fin), scars, and coloration details were accounted for (~$100 USD).
SPECIAL NOTE FOR ZOOLOGICAL PROFESSIONALS:
Due to the respect I have for those in the cetacean care/training field, as well as the knowledge of the fact that they are often paid very little for all of their hard work, all custom plushies ordered by **current/former killer whale trainers **are free of cost, aside from a fee for shipping. Because I have less experience with other species (and, thus, they would take more time and material to create), current/former trainers of other cetacean species will receive a 35% discount! If you are a trainer and would like to pay in spite of this, I will graciously take any donation that you deem appropriate.
Other (read below)
For other types of commissions, such as physical commissions (costume pieces, sculptures, etc.), quotes are available per request. Pricing usually depends on materials and specifications, though this cannot be calculated until I have the full picture of what you want done.

The Killer Whale Wiki, founded by myself (Orcinidae) in August 2020, is a collaborative Fandom community that anyone, including you, can help build and expand. The goal of the wiki is to collect, organize, and document the lives of killer whales worldwide. From wild to captive-- living to deceased-- there is always a need for organized information on these remarkable animals. The wiki was created to fill a void in the cetacean science community, that void being a neutral, all-encompassing source of information on killer whales. Other databases exist but are plagued by bias, misinformation, or inactivity.Killer Whale Wiki contributors come from all facets of the cetacean community, ranging from professionals to casual enjoyers of marine science. With over 1500 pages, the wiki continues to expand and encourage the pursuit of cetacean knowledge. If you'd like to browse the wiki, or maybe even contribute, simply click on the Killer Whale Wiki logo at the top of this page!
